U-PICK HEMP
Call it u-pick, upick, PYO or pick your own. For two days at the end of harvest we are opening the hemp field in the Petaluma Gap so you can harvest your own hemp. Something we have never done before.
You get clippers and a member of the crew to walk you out to the designated rows. Choose your plant, manicure and cut it right there in the field, and take it home. Your very own hemp tree to cure, trim up and enjoy.
The dry-farmed field came in beautiful this year. These are the best hemp plants we have grown, and this is the first time we have ever opened the rows to anyone outside the farm.
We are locking the dates now and keeping it small. Two questions and you are on the advance notice list. No payment today, nothing owed. You just hear first.
Our cannafam grows by word of mouth. Please forward this to someone who would love it.

Harvest is seasonal and the window is short, so booking runs through our advance notice list. Get on it and we will reach out a couple of weeks before the harvest days to secure your spot, with the dates and the exact time reservations open.
You book a one hour session. We run a few each day and keep them small, so the field never gets crowded.
Entry is pre-paid per car when you book, so there is no payment at the gate. You show us your reservation and drive to your spot.
If you cannot make it, just cancel and we will refund your entry fee. No hassle.
21 and over only. Everyone in the vehicle needs to be 21+ with valid ID.
No pets. We love them, but this is a working field during harvest. Leave them home.
Two plants per person. That is already more cured hemp than most people know what to do with.
Everything in this field is industrial hemp. It is grown on a registered hemp site under our California industrial hemp registration, filed with the Sonoma County Agricultural Commissioner, and the field is posted as industrial hemp the way the state requires.
Every crop is sampled and tested by an independent laboratory before harvest and comes in under 0.3 percent THC, which is the legal threshold that makes a plant hemp rather than cannabis. This is not our cannabis, it is not grown on our cannabis licensed ground, and it is not sold as a cannabis product.
This hemp is dry farmed, meaning it gets no irrigation and lives on what the ground held from the winter rain. It is certified organic through CCOF under the USDA National Organic Program, on a separate certificate from our cannabis.
What you take home is a fresh hemp plant, raw and unprocessed. There is no consumption of any kind on the farm.
Dates are being confirmed and this list hears first. Plants are limited and it is first come, first served. This is a working farm in the middle of harvest, so wear closed shoes and clothes you do not mind getting dusty.
Directions and check-in go out by email once you are booked.
